Lead Data Architect

  • On-site, Hybrid
    • Hamburg, Hamburg, Germany

Job description

Our mission

At LOGEX, we turn data into better healthcare.

As we continue to scale our healthcare intelligence platform across Europe, we're investing in a modern, unified data foundation that supports analytics, AI, and data-driven decision-making across our products and services.

You will define the future-state architecture that enables this vision. You will establish the standards, models, and principles that ensure our data is well-structured, interoperable, secure, and trusted across the organisation.

This is a highly visible role with broad influence across Data Engineering, Product, Platform, Governance, and AI teams. You will play a key role in shaping how LOGEX manages and leverages data as we continue to grow, including through acquisitions and expansion across Europe.

Your impact and responsibilities

Define the target-state data architecture

Own and evolve the enterprise data architecture, creating a clear roadmap from the current state to a scalable and future-proof data platform.

Establish data standards and architecture principles

Define the modelling, integration, interoperability, and storage standards that enable consistency across teams and products.

Drive data modelling excellence

Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models while ensuring semantic consistency and trusted business definitions across the organisation.

Enable governance by design

Embed governance, lineage, security, privacy, and compliance requirements directly into the data architecture.

Support analytics and AI at scale

Ensure the architecture provides the foundations required for reliable analytics, data products, and AI-driven capabilities.

Provide technical leadership

Act as the senior architectural authority across distributed teams, helping engineers and data practitioners make sound design decisions while reducing fragmentation and technical debt.

What you will do

  • Define and maintain the target-state enterprise data architecture.

  • Create and drive the roadmap towards a unified data platform.

  • Develop standards for data modelling, integration, interoperability, and storage.

  • Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

  • Define canonical data structures and business definitions.

  • Support engineering teams with architectural guidance and design reviews.

  • Ensure governance, lineage, security, privacy, and compliance are built into platform design.

  • Partner with Data Governance, Product, Platform, and AI teams to align architecture with business goals.

  • Evaluate data technologies, tooling, and architectural trade-offs.

  • Improve consistency across teams while reducing complexity and technical debt.

  • Support the integration of acquired businesses into the broader LOGEX data landscape.
