Job description

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, process-driven Manager Sales Operations to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in optimizing our company-wide sales processes, ensuring adherence to policies and processes, with the aim of having the right information at the right time and driving efficiency across the sales organization. You will be a key partner to the sales leadership team, providing critical insights and support to achieve our revenue goals, and to our wider leadership team. This role focuses on the strategic implementation and management of sales processes and policies and the accurate and timely administration and reporting of sales related information.

This is a senior individual contributor role with significant strategic impact and high visibility to our Executive Committee, Private Equity shareholders and wider senior leadership. At the start, this is not a managerial position involving direct reports (but this is certainly an option in the near to medium term), but it does require extensive collaboration across teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-on role, driving execution, influencing decisions, and delivering results directly.

In this role, you are responsible for:

· Having the right sales policies and processes in place and making sure they are adhered to

· Ensuring the right data goes in and out of our ‘systems of record’ used by the sales organization (main one being Salesforce)

· Providing high quality, timely analysis, reporting, and documentation of sales processes and results

What you’ll do:

Sales operations policy and processes:

· Develop, implement, and maintain Sales Operations policies and procedures to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency

· Monitor adherence and address any deviations to ensure accurate and timely output

· Communicate and train the sales team on new and existing policies, processes and conventions (such as definitions, documentation and cadence)

Sales administration, documentation, analysis and reporting:

· Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales performance

· Develop and operate forecasting models to improve accuracy and predictability

· Generate regular sales reports and dashboards to provide insights to sales leadership

· Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement

· Provide actionable recommendations to improve sales performance

Deal Desk:

· Establish and manage a robust deal desk process, ensuring timely review and approval of complex deals while mitigating risk

· Support deal structuring, pricing, and contract approvals, ensuring alignment with company policies and financial goals

· Develop and maintain a range of guidelines and approval matrices

· Review pipeline to proactively identify at-risk deals or deal blockers

· Serve as the primary reviewer for quality assurance and data integrity of pipeline and bookings

Cross-functional collaboration:

· Work closely with sales leadership, marketing, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and collaboration

· Facilitate communication and collaboration between sales teams and other departments
