What can you expect?
You’ll create an environment where everyone can fully focus on their work, share information effectively, and feel comfortable spending time and growing.
Organizing and leading Scrum activities such as planning, sprints, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, and you will be accountable for the empirical process of the Scrum framework by using the scrum values and principles.
Helping team members collaborate efficiently, including developers, architects, system analysts, and product owners. You will be also working outside of the development team in international environment as our company is spread across Europe.
Being responsible for helping the Scrum Team to become increasingly self-managing over time.
Using tried-and-tested practices while exploring new approaches through discussions and mentoring.
Helping the team grow by providing continuous feedback and coaching to team members.
Sharing best practices with other Scrum Masters.
Leveraging tools like JIRA to support your work.
Our Scrum Master is also a line manager of development team members. In this role he/she is responsible for the personal growth of individuals, motivation, hiring. Participates in the promotion process of developers and collects evaluation of their technical knowledge.
Job requirements
Fluent communication in English and Czech is essential, as the team is spread across Europe, with a strong base in Brno.
The ability to lead open and honest discussions, build trust, and work effectively with various stakeholders is a key part of the role.
Staying calm under pressure, being open to feedback, and showing a willingness to learn are crucial qualities.
Practical experience with agile methodologies, ideally as a Scrum Master, is highly valued.
A proactive approach, openness to new ideas, and the ability to support the team on its Scrum journey and agile development are important traits.
Being a friendly team player who can inspire, encourage, and support the team through challenges is vital.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on finding effective solutions are a must.
